- Lighter and more responsive - Improve your control and accuracy. Zero G is the lightest and most nimble rod blank we’ve ever made, with a 25% slimmer wall diameter. You feel your cast and feel the line far better than with any other rod, so you know where your fly line is at all times for maximum control and accuracy, and better presentations.
- More powerful - Put maximum pressure on a fish without worrying about the rod failing, or punch that line into the stiffest wind without a struggle. Our exclusive unidirectional carbon scrim and optimum amount of boron at the butt section compresses less under stress for a reserve power that takes over in your longest casts or when you play that big fish.

 |
- Tougher - You worry less when you drop the Zero G (and you know you will) on the rocks or on the bottom of a boat. Our exclusive high-cure thermoplastic enriched thermoset resins technology (used in Apache helicopter blades) and carbon scrim give the Zero G more resilience and “backbone” against damage than any other rod made.
- Fully finished ferrules for seamless, stronger joints prevent cracking and checking.
- The most beautiful fly rod made. Freshwater: Nickel silver—anodized aluminum hardware with tiger maple insert. Hard chrome guides. Saltwater: Anodized aluminum hardware with a Texalium® fiber insert. Titanium carbide guides. Each with three full coats of finish and a final UV blocking coat.

It does exactly what I would want a five-weight tip-flex rod to do--throws the line smoothly over distance. And it has a light feel. It has more continuity in its flexing than any 9.5 (flex index) 9 foot trout rod yet. Whatever the rod boys did to smooth out that taper, they should be applauded.

Thank you so much for giving me one of the Zero G 6wt rods from the show. I was able to fish the 6wt all of Sunday during the One Fly event in Jackson and I have to say that with considerable thought the Zero G is the best rod I have ever cast and fished with. I love to cast and am hard on myself when the fly is not perfectly positioned regardless of species or destinations; during the One Fly every stroke with the zero G was perfect.
When I needed the power for longer casts, it was there. When I needed the short tight shot behind the log, it was there. When I needed to pick up fast and recast it was all there, amazing accuracy and power. What was incredible was the ability to take the rod off plane from back cast to front cast and have the rod adjust accordingly. I have already purchased the 8wt and am holding my breath for the 11wt to come on the market for my saltwater trips this spring. I will have the 6wt with me in Chile for 3 weeks of pure YANKING trout fishing and can't wait to see how it does. Please send as many as possible.

Just got back from Mexico last week and had a chance to use the 909-4 tip Zero G for the first time and thought I would send you along a testimonial; I think Fletch sent one along already. We had a bad weather week but got a couple of photos that are sub par, but thought I would attach them anyway. Hope all is well and thanks.
The 909-4 Tip Flex Zero Gravity could very well be the best rod I have ever fished. The accuracy and sensitivity of the rod in variable conditions with different weighted flies are mind boggling. When you combine the accuracy and sensitivity with the weight of the rod and the incredible butt strength, the result is the perfect fishing rod. I would gladly trade in my quiver of rods for a new one, consisting solely of Zero Gravity Rods. Anyone want to trade?

I don't know if it is the taper or the material but I couldn't overload this rod. I was casting most of the fly line and the rod felt as if I were making a 40-foot cast. I'm very impressed. I caught many 5- to 6-lb. brook trout in Labrador while testing the Zero G 905-4, most on size 6 Wulffs. The rod threw these very wind-resistant flies well and handled the fight very well. Its a winner!

This rod is a rocket. I tested it in Manitoba on pike. We probably landed 150 pike over three days. I was most impressed with its strength in hook setting (a heavy line strip and sweep set) and with playing fish, some of which were over 40''.
Perhaps the best test was the guide group up there. They love their T3 909s but were blown away by the Zero G. They all liked its weight and taper and were impressed with how powerfully it casts an intermediate line.

Here in Northeast Florida on Amelia Island we have a unique opportunity to fish for redfish when the marsh floods during extreme tides. Spotting a redfish tail waving above the flooded Spartina grass excites the hunter in all of us. Presenting a fly and fighting a fish in this difficult situation requires more than just skill it requires a rod that can make a delicate accurate cast and has the power fight and stop a fish swimming through the grass. The Zero G is that rod. Making long casts with something as non-aerodynamic as bulky crab imitation or spoon fly with a weed guard, and needing it to land as softly as a dry fly is simple with the Zero G. The rod really helps you feel your cast. It has the sensitivity to feel the take more quickly which means more hook ups. A red fish once hooked, senses the danger of being in the flooded grass and instinctively heads to the safety of the nearest creek resulting in extremely powerful runs. The Zero G has the power to stop and turn those fish. The Zero G is the only rod I need when I'm fishing for reds in the grass.
Thanks, and Great Fishing.
