FLY TYING CLASS:
The student will learn all of the most popular patterns, as well as some trade techniques from some of the area's finest tiers.
The 2008 class is being held Tuesday January 8th through Tuesday February 12th.
The class is designed to take the most entry-level fly tier and teach him or her how to tie the following: egg patterns, nymphs, streamers, standard dry flies, parachute dry flies, and more!
Details for the class consist of the following:
- Class starts in early January
- One day each week (Tuesdays) for six weeks
- Starting time is 6:00 pm; class will end between 8:00 and 8:30 pm.
- Students need their own vice, tools (bobbin, bobbin threader, hackle pliers, scissors, etc.), one spool of black thread, all other tying materials will be supplied by the shop. The vice, tools, and thread are available for sale at the shop.
The class will be filled on a first-come first-serve basis. The 2008 price is $65 for the six-week course. To reserve a spot in the class please call, stop-in, or email.
