Interested in learning how to fly fish or looking for a stream guide to introduce you to the hotsposts on our backyard Neshannock Creek?

Available to all ages, we can pick up where ever your flyfishing skill level is and take you to the next level of flyfishing success.

Rates for half day (4 hours): One angler - $150.00, 2 anglers - $275.00, and 3 anglers - $375.00

Participants will need to have their waders, boots, PA Fishing License, and Trout Stamp.

2024 Ladies' Flyfishing Class

2024 Ladies' Flyfishing Class

May 4th & 5th, All day Saturday, half day Sunday, Cost: $295.00/ea.

Starting from the beginning, we will cover overall concepts about the art of flyfishing, learning how to rig your fly rod, to casting, mending, dead drifting, handling & releasing trout, and bragging about how big the trout were that you will catch! Ladies will need to bring their own fly rod & reel, waders & boots, PA fishing license, Trout Stamp, and lunch for Saturday.

2024 KID'S FLYFISHING CLASS

2024 KID'S FLYFISHING CLASS

June 10th-14th, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Cost: $250.00/ea.

Ages 10 - 14. Kids will need to bring sunglasses (eye protection), fly rod & reel, and lunch each day except the last day (Friday) on which we will provide Pizza and soda. Participants can bring their own waders if available, however the time of year typically allows for wet wading. If conditions are such, we will move from stream fishing to pond fishing from the bank.

2025 Fly Tying Class

2025 Fly Tying Class

Beginning January 9th on Thursdays for six weeks. Cost: $95/ea.

Starts with an overall discussion about fly tying including the enjoyment of tying to a light understanding of entymology to being able to create your own patterns. You will be learning the basics of fly tying starting with the tools of the trade to hands on tying starting with learning how to whip finish to tying a simple pattern like the Green Weenie & Wooly Bugger to tying more complicated patterns like a Black Stone and dry flies. Participants will need to bring their own vise and fly tying tools; everything else will be provided by the fly shop.
